The inaugural American Countdown Country Awards is pulling in the biggest names in country music for its first-ever round of nominations. Today (Nov. 11), the new award show announced its categories and nominees for this year's ceremony, and country's party boy Luke Bryan is leading the pack.
According to Music Row, Bryan leads the nominations with seven total, gathering a mention in most of the major categories.
Bryan is nominated for: Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Collaboration of the Year ("This is How We Roll"), Album of the Year (Crash My Party) and doubly in Digital Song of the Year ("Play It Again," "Drink a Beer").
Bryan is followed closely in nominations by the ACCA's hosts, Florida Georgia Line who are nominated in six categories. Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum also racked up multiple nods for the new award show.
The American Countdown Country Awards will air on Monday, Dec. 15, on FOX. Performances are expected from Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and more.
