Los Angeles based electronic music festival Day Of The Dead took place over Halloween weekend on Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday Nov. 2. Produced by Hard Events, the festival broke ground at the Pomona Fairplex, just outside of Los Angeles. Like other festivals that have preceded it Hard Day Of The Dead has released its scintillating aftermovie featuring cameos from its laundry list of performers like Zedd, Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Bassnectar, Diplo, Eric Prydz and others. The festival had its largest lineup to date, with music lasting 11 hours on over five different stages.

The clip does not last too long, giving festival-goers a refresher on what they experienced and instilling FOMO for those who were not there. It flips back and forth between clips of fans dressed in very little and massive crowd shots, showing off the production put together by Hard.

Gary Richard's Hard Events have become known for their distinctly West Coast flavor and their ability to act as a tastemaker within the scene, picking out new talent while they are still relatively unknown to play at one of the festivals. Hard not only throws the Hard DOTD festival, but also Hard Summer in Los Angeles, Holy Ship, the infamous and often imitated Caribbean boat cruise that brings together some of dance music's top talent for some special sets and intimate fan interaction.

Hard also sponsors various stages at festivals across the world like its current run at Stereosonic in Australia, as well as a recent two day stint on the East Coast for Electric Daisy Carnival New York.

Many festival goers may have started to notice drones flying overhead while they were enjoying music. Cameras are being attached to the drones to get an overheard angle of the festival and this is becoming a part of festival aftermovies, as you can see prominently in the Day Of The Dead aftermovie.

If you want more, listen to deadmau5 & Eric Prydz's live set from Day Of The Dead that was recorded by an intrepid fan live.
