2014 is coming to a close, and you know what that means...year-end music wrap ups! In the world of mashups, there is no better summation of any given year than DJ Earworm's "United State of Pop" series. Yesterday (Dec. 3), Earworm released "United State of Pop 2014," featuring 25 of this year's biggest hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande in one four-minute extravaganza.

Though profiling 25 singles in all, "United States of Pop 2014" seems to most heavily feature Swift's "Shake It Off," Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass," Azalea's "Fancy" and Jason DeRulo's "Talk Dirty," particularly in the chorus.

Playing into the big year of the ballad, with unexpected hits from Hozier, John Legend, Passenger and Sam Smith cracking the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, the tempo of "United State of Pop 2014" is rather down-tempo, allowing each song to breathe in the mashup.

As usual, the end result is a nostalgic reminder of a time that's not too far behind us and a hopeful blend of the biggest music of the year.
