Music awards shows are always hot, and some music just never gets old. Hence the existence of the Classic Rock Awards, we presume. Some of the biggest bands in, well, ever, took home the biggest prizes at the ceremony, which was held Thursday at the O2 Arena in London.

Black Sabbath was the night's big winner, taking home three awards: Album of The Year, Event of The Year, and the Living Legend Prize. The band, best known for hugely influential albums such as Paranoid, recently reformed and released the LP 13 last year. Event of The Year commemorated the band's 2013 tour, for which the group just announced a few more dates.

"I didn't even expect to live this long - when I was 21 I thought I would be dead by 40. That was alright until I was 39," said Ozzy Osbourne, the band's vocalist. "I never thought 43 years ago I'd be standing here. We're in shock - this year has been an incredible event for us."

Sabbath's accomplishments weren't enough to merit the Band of The Year prize however. The Rolling Stones haven't released an album of original material since 2005, but the group's 2013 concert run was the highest earning tour of 2013, and the band made high-profile appearances including a headlining spot at Glastonbury and a huge Hyde Park performance in London.

Mick Jagger accepted the award via a video link.

"We had a fantastic summer here in the UK. Glastonbury was one of the most exciting gigs we've ever done, and Hyde Park was a wonderful summer's evening."

Figuring that no classic rock awards ceremony would be complete without giving Led Zeppelin some sort of prize, the trophy for Film of the Year for its release Celebration Day.
