Last week we reported on how Amazon was working to get its streaming services to India via Amazon Prime, and how much of the music world is looking to the subcontinent as its next target for business. EDM is no different as a large number of music festivals have sprung up in recent years (and rumors of a developing Tomorrowland chapter in Goa persist). Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are just staying ahead of the curve, announcing that they were working on the soundtrack for a "secret" film project with established Bollywood actor Salman Khan

"We are doing little bit in Bollywood," Vegas told DNAIndia in less-than-revealing soundbite. "Thanks to Salman Khan, we are doing behind the scene music. There will be more news on that soon. At this moment, we are talking about it and we intend to do some more stuff in future."

Vegas and Like Mike were just in India serving as headliners for Sunburn, the largest dance festival in Asia, also held on India's west coast in Goa. No word on whether the band hooked up with Khan while in town or whether they had already been in touch (but probably the latter).

So what kind of film could we be looking at? It's no secret that Khan has had a run of hits in the action genre recently, particularly Dabangg 2...which features a plot fairly well summed up by the sound of its title...and Kick. The house music produced by Vegas and Mike is certainly more in tune with a high octane release. Right now the actor's involved in two projects due to be released during 2015—Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan—although neither of those are action films.

Stay tuned for more details, but kudos to the Belgian pair for tapping into the growing Indian market.
