Alt-J may have just released its sophomore effort this fall, but it seems like 2015 is going to be an even bigger year for the "Every Other Freckle" band. Today (Jan. 12), alt-J announced it will be going on tour this spring and the UK rockers will be hitting some major career goals along the way.

The 2015 tour dates include some major milestones for alt-J. The band will be tackling the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City and the famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

Alt-J will also be hitting the festival circuit hard this spring, with more dates surely to follow this summer. Thus far, the indie rockers are playing three international editions of Lollapalooza and both weekends of Coachella.

Between the major dates and festivals, alt-J will be playing in Cleveland, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh and other major markets.
