Pornhub announced a contest to find the "ultimate" Pornhub theme song with a judging panel of T-Pain and hip-hop star producer Scott Storch judging the submissions. The self-proclaimed number one porn site received thousands of submissions and had to whittle that down to one winner for the grand prize. Since Pornhub likes to be rather unconventional, they decided to choose two winners, one aptly titled "Pornhub Anthem" by Reading, Pennsylvania rapper Jordan Royale and another "You Make Me Feel Like" from female rocker, Mihannah Zhang.
Jordan Royale glorifies the site and watching porn, proclaiming in the chorus "Pornhub, it's all day/ it's every day, all day." He admits elsewhere in the song, "I love watching porn when I have a bad day/It's like jerking off flushes all the pain away."
Zhang is more subtle with her approach with a chorus "You make me feel like (gasp and moan)."
The winners will each receive $5,000 in prize money to film their own videos, which will be posted on Pornhub, which is guaranteeing them 500,000 views each.
Pornhub VP, Corey Price spoke to Rolling Stone about the contest and the winners,
"We wanted an artist to evoke an emotive response representative of the Pornhub brand from listeners. Both Jordan and Mihannah did just that. They took the personality of our brand and delicately crafted it, embodying exactly what we're looking for in an official anthem. Here at Pornhub Records we're all about star quality, and without further ado we'd like to introduce the world to Jordan Royale and Mihannah Zhang."
Pornhub has looked to step out of the shadows and into the mainstream in recent months, notably within the music space. It launched a record label, Pornhub Records last September with the release of a song by Coolio "Take It To The Hub." It was accompanied by a predictably very NSFW video.
