The Movielife have finally added more shows to their 2015 reunion schedule, including the New York group's their first UK gigs in 12 years.

"We, as friends and lovers of music, have found that we would all like to play shows together again as The Movielife," the group originally posted on its Facebook page late last year. "We bear no news of a new record nor are we planning a 6 month world tour. But I'll tell you one thing: The Movielife is alive."

When the group reformed, the only event initially listed was a Feb. 7 show at Irving Plaza in New York City, but they've since added a few more American dates.

The Movieline debuted in 1997 and released three albums before breaking up in 2003. Their Irving Plaza show will be their first concert of any kind in eight years. Frontman Vinnie Caruana said the group decided to reunite with club shows because the setting gives fans a better experience.

"We're going out there with a lot of songs and we made a very conscious decision to not do festivals right away and to make sure we rewarded people for their patience and make sure we play a long set in a club away from the light of day," he said (via ANTI).

"I know there's going to be people in the north or in Scotland or Ireland that aren't going to be happy with that, but when we made the announcement we made it very clear that we're going to do what we can do when we can do it."
