AraabMuzik — birth name Abraham Orellana — is a 25-year-old, self-made producer known for his prolific beat library and work with Eminem, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and several other hip-hop stars.

He recently told NPR that he is able to make most of his beats while on the road.

"When I perform and travel, that's all set dates," he said. "So I basically just produce when I have all my free time. Like, I do everything really late night. That's when all the, you know, creative process kicks in."

Like most producers, Orellana is high on confidence; he often believes his remixes are better than the original songs.

"You know, if it's not something crazy — like if the original song wasn't too crazy like that, I can probably make it sound a lot better than the original," he said. "That's what I pretty much do all the time. I always make it — when I put something out or remix something or put my touch to it, it's always better than the original."

Right now, he faces the opposite of writer's block — he is producing too much.

"I have so much music, it doesn't make sense," he said. "I gotta just stop letting, you know, putting stuff out because not all of that stuff's gonna be heard or get used. So I gotta cater to the fans and kind of put a lot of projects out and stuff like that."

So what is the next step for a young star who is trying to not let himself get in the way of greatness?

"I'ma be working on an EDM project now," he said. "Real soon, I'ma put a little EP together. A lot of original stuff so that way these people can see that, you know, I can really do this."
