Phil Elverum, aka Mount Eerie, has finally released the recording of "Dragon," a song he debuted later in 2014 to high praise. This time around, we hear female vocals leading the main melody over some natural soundscapes and a lone acoustic guitar. Take a listen below!

"Blindlessness" is the latest single from Will Oldham, a.k.a. Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Fans of the Americana singer-songwriter will be pleased with just how depressing this song is, and we're sure new fans will love what 2015 holds for the artist. Watch the official music video for this song right here!

RIYL: Jim James, Iron and Wine

We also want to share with a new upbeat number from Swedish songwriter José González entitled "Leaf Off / The Cave." His mesmerizing vocals and enthralling guitar work is sure to get you hooked early on in this new song. Check it out right here!

RIYL: Jens Lekman, Sufjan Stevens, Sondre Lerche

You can also check out three live performance videos of Death Cab for Cutie debuting brand new songs off of their upcoming album Kintsugi. These new songs include "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive," "No Room In Frame," and "Black Sun." Check them out right here!

This week also had some amazing new musical partnerships pop up, including a new song from Kanye West, Paul McCartney and Rihanna! Speaking of new versions of other tunes, listen to Wye Oak's remix of Sylvan Esso's "Play It Right," which also debuted this week.

While most of us know Nate Mendel as the bassist of the Foo Fighters, 2015 marks a new venture for the talented musician: a solo project called Lieutenant. Mendel appears to be getting back to his Alternative Indie Rock roots from his days as a founding member of Sunny Day Real Estate, as evident in his dreary-voiced, slow burning first single "Believe the Squalor." Listen to this promising new song right here!

RIYL: Athlete, Appleseed Cast, Pinback

Experimental, soul-inspired art rock outfit Ava Luna has never done anything but impress us over the years and 2015 is no exception. The group's newest song, "Billz," is a modern tribute to the '70s funk and R&B movement with a relatable refrain: paying bills. Check it out right here!

RIYL: Dirty Projectors, Bootsy Collins

Laura Marling is coming out of her shell with her upcoming 2015 album, Short Movie, and we can tell thanks to her new song released this week, "False Hope." The folk artist takes a step into indie, alternative rock songwriting to experiment a bit, and it's working! Take a listen below!

RIYL: Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten

For those of you dealing with the powerful Winter Storm Juno this week, use this new mixtape to relax while you're barricaded indoors from the cold. As for the lucky ones out there, use this mixtape to relate to those dealing with Juno! With the slow building aspect of this week's mix, we think that it can definitely help to relate to the winter weather. So embrace it!
