Chicago drill star, Chief Keef, has shared a new track titled "Hiding," which you can check out below. Keef hands over the production work to Chopsquad DJ, who drapes the song in some laughably cheap synth strings and piano, which sound like they could have been used for the soundtrack to a late '90s computer game. Keef gives us some of his typically incomprehensible auto-tuned mumbling about hiding money or something.

It's not clear where this song will ultimately end up or if it's simply a one-off single. Keef's most recent studio album, Nobody, a digital-only collaboration with 12 Million, was released back in December, and was Keef's second album overall, following his 2012 debut Finally Rich. The album concluded quite a busy 2014 for Keef, having released a number of full-length mixtapes throughout the year as well, such as Chiraq, Back from the Dead 2, Big Gucci Sosa with Gucci Mane, Mansion Musick, and Crashing Computers.

Despite dropping Nobody, it wasn't the album that Chief Keef's fans have been eagerly awaiting. The highly anticipated Bang 3 was intended to be Keef's sophomore studio effort, though its release date was pushed back several times throughout 2014, its most recent being Christmas day. Keef was dropped from his label, Interscope, over the summer, and as of right now, Bang 3 has no release date.

Despite Bang 3's perpetual delay, Keef still has a few projects lined up for 2015, including his Thot Breaker mixtape, which is set to drop on Valentine's Day. In addition to this tape, Keef will be releasing a joint album with his cousin, Fredo Santana, titled Blood Thicker Than Water at some point during the year.
