After weeks of predictions, announcements and general tomfoolery, The 2015 Grammys are finally here. While you can check out the awards ceremony on national television on CBS at 8 p.m. ET, you also have the option to live stream all the action right here in order to see performances by Kanye West, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Madonna and more.

We are here to provide you with a quick primer. Learn up!

  • LL Cool J is hosting the ceremony for the fourth straight year -- we are still not allowed to call it a comeback.
  • The list of performers is enticing: We will get to see the likes of Katy Perry -- fresh off her Super Bowl halftime show -- Madonna; Kanye West, Rihanna and Macca; Beyoncé; AC/DCJohn LegendMiranda LambertAriana Grande; and several others.
  • While several awards have already been given out during the pre-show ceremony, plenty of hardware is left to be decided. Throughout this past week, we have broken down many of the major categories, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist.
  • Of course, there will be plenty of famous people handing out these awards. The list of presenters includes Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Dave Grohl, Keith Urban, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Stevie Wonder, Shia LaBeouf, Jennifer Hudson, Anna Kendrick and many more.
  • Looking for social media drama? There is certain to be plenty of it surrounding the award for Best Rap Album. Last year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took home the award to the chagrin of just about everybody. This year, another fair-skinned emcee, Iggy Azalea, is nominated. It should be noted that fellow nominee Eminem is also white, but 15 years of complicated societal nuance and hip-hop culture's begrudging acceptance have mostly removed him from any sort of "white/black" controversy. There are many people in the rap community who feel strongly that Iggy is not deserving of the award. If she wins, you can guarantee all hell will break loose.

Got it? Good! Let's watch.
