Five months after Hannah Graham of UVA was last scene on a surveillance camera walking with Jesse Matthew near Charlottesville Mall in Virginia, he has been charged with her murder. The 18-year-old University of Virginia student's murder has always been linked to 32-year-old Matthew, but until late last night, Feb. 9, he had only been charged with abduction with intent to defile. Prosecutors apparently now believe they have enough evidence against Matthew that will stick.

According to a report by CNN, a press conference will be held at 11 a.m. this morning, Feb. 10, to officially announce the new charges and evidence that allowed them to finally feel confident that they not only have their man, but can hold on to him. Graham's remains were found on an abandoned property in Albemarle County Oct. 18, a month after her disappearance.

Matthew has been considered a suspect in several other open cases in the Virginia area. He is currently jailed in Fairfax County and facing charges of attempted capital murder, abduction and sexual penetration of a woman with an object, in connection with a 2005 attack the victim actually survived. That trial is set to begin March 9. Matthew is also the key suspect in the 2009 death of Morgan Harrington, a Virginia Tech student. His DNA was reportedly found on the shirt she was wearing when she was last seen. Her body was also discovered just a few short miles from where Graham's body was unearthed.

Matthew has been behind bars since September, and from the looks of all the charges that are hanging over him, he will be staying there for a really long time.
