The Internet is at it again. A video surfaced recently that uses footage from the classic children's movie Mary Poppins and syncs it up to some heavy metal. Best of all, the scene is of Poppins (Julie Andrews) and Bert (Dick Van Dyke) singing the movie's most famous song, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." The mash-up is a little weird at first, but you get used to it by the end.

The A.V. Club found the clip, which was made by Andy Rehfeldt. OK, it is disturbing to see Andrews let out a metal schreech at the beginning, but the rest of the video is hilarious. Everything syncs up pretty well, including the cartoon band in charge of the demonic backing vocals. Van Dyke's facial expressions are priceless as well. Singers Sara Hatchett and Thomas Hinds were responsible for the new, growling vocals. Check out the clip below.

Rehfeldt is a repeat offender for mashing up metal music. Metal Insider points out that the creator's other videos include a soft version of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and a heavy metal reworking of Elvis Presley singing "Blue Suede Shoes." Check out all of Rehfeldt's ideas over at his YouTube page.

Songwriter Richard Sherman, who penned the Disney tune with his brother Robert, explained how "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" came to be in an interview with LAist.

"[W]e said, 'Remember when we used to make up the big double talk words?' We could make a big obnoxious word up for the kids and that's where it started [...] We started with 'atrocious' and then you can sound smart and be 'precocious,' we had 'precocious' and 'atrocious' and we wanted something super colossal and that's corny, so we took 'super' and did double talk to get 'califragilistic' which means nothing, it just came out that way. That's in a nutshell what we did over two weeks. All together you get 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.'"
