Everyone knows the Giudice family is having a rough time financially. After admitting to various financial crimes, Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to jail terms and ordered to pay millions in restitution. While Teresa is currently serving more than a year in a Connecticut prison, Joe has been left to provide for and raise their four kids. Not an easy task without the income that The Real Housewives of New Jersey has provided them for years now. It seems that the desperate times have led to them taking some desperate measures in order to feed the kids and pay some bills. The family has reportedly been paid $100,000 for the first prison pics of Teresa.

According to a new report by Radar Online, someone got handy with their camera and is now about to profit from it.

"During a recent visit to the prison, a member of Teresa's family snapped three photos of her smiling. In the photos, she is dressed in the light brown prison outfit that she is required to wear. She isn't wearing make-up, either. Her hair looks a little knotted. You cannot take cellphones into the prison, but somehow, this particular family member was able to -- and snapped away without guards noticing! You can be assured that the prison and its warden is going to be furious when these images are published! It could have serious consequences for Teresa," said the insider.

Eventually it seemed pretty likely that prison photos would leak out, right? The price tag was going to be pretty steep, too, so a family member might as well benefit. Perhaps the real question here is whether or not Teresa let them take the photos so they could get paid.

Do you think she would sell her image as a way to make a fast chunk of cash for her kids, or do you think she had no idea the photos would actually get out? Will this end up being one more way Joe has deceived her?

Can you believe a publication paid $100,000 for just a few shots of Teresa in prison garb? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
