Soulfire Revolution, a new Christian Band, has recently been signed by Capitol Christian Music Group and plans to release their upcoming album entitled, 'Revival,' on August 13.

The band has already released the title track for their upcoming album in, not one, but two languages. It is entitled, 'Revival,' in English and 'Aviva' in Spanish. The new single features vocals by Kim Walker-Smith, of Jesus Culture. Both Spanish and English versions of the album will be available when it is released in August.

The upcoming album was produced by Jeremy Edwardson and recorded in his California studio. Additional songs to be featured on the album include, 'Count the Stars,' featuring Martin Smith, 'Place of Surrender,' featuring Jason Ingram, and 'Spirit Break Out,' featuring a rap interlude by TobyMac.

Soulfire Revolution hails from Bogota, Colombia. They focus their talents on loving worship of God and following in His footsteps. They are part of MCI (Mision Carismatica Internacional) church in their hometown of Bogota, which has grown from a group of eight to about 70,000 active members and about 200,000 members in total.

MCI was originally started by Cesar and Claudia Castellanos about 30 years ago, and began with meetings in the couple's living room. The couple focused their energy on creating a home family, as well as a church family, that operates based on a communal love for God. Their daughter, Lorena, is currently the lead singer for Soulfire Revolution.

Lorena felt called to ministry after a three-day retreat through MCI called, 'Encounter.' "I was 12 when I went to my first Encounter, and up until that point, I wasn't really interested in church. I just went because I was the pastor's daughter, and my parents were there," Lorena said, according to Your Music Zone.  "But it was during those three days when I truly had an encounter with God. I had the conviction that God could really use me, and I never turned back."

The band's ministry was formed at MCI and later branched out when they decided to take on missionary opportunities in the United States, beginning with Miami, Florida. They aim to use their common love for music to communicate a message about God, the one true Hope. "Our hearts are for God and to follow the great commission. We're all leaders in our church and we are constantly leading new people to follow Jesus. It's much more than music it's about guiding others to truly have an encounter with God," said Lorena, according to New Release Tuesday.

The current members of the band include two couples, Lorena Castellanos (vocals) and her husband Julian Gamba (bass), and Paola Sanchez (drums) and husband Jose Anthony Catacoli (lead guitar). In addition, Lorena's brother-in-law, Richard Harding performs on lead vocals and guitar. They previously released a four-track Spanish EP entitled, 'Tan Solo Una Gota,' in 2012.
