There have been rumors floating around for a while now about Joe Giudice trying to score his own reality show. While his breadwinner wife Teresa Giudice is currently locked away in a Connecticut prison, Joe has failed to find a real job to help provide for the couple's four daughters, and things have gotten pretty desperate. After spending years on RHONJ, this family always seems more than willing to sell themselves in order to make some fast cash, and while Bravo decided against a reality show focusing on just Joe and the kids, it put a spinoff deal on the table instead.

Since Teresa was once the star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, producers felt that if she could be included in a reality spinoff show, then it would work. While cameras are not allowed inside the Danbury prison where she is being held, a deal has been worked out between the Giudices and Bravo.

According to a report by Radar Online, "The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents. Producers insisted that phone calls with Teresa be included in the footage. The family will be required to talk to Teresa on speaker phone, as well as to share any email correspondence they have with her," explained the insider.

The network will also be filming those long car rides to the prison -- maybe it has arranged for the family to have a driver since Joe's license is suspended yet again. What are your thoughts on Bravo deciding to go ahead with a spinoff based on what will inevitably be the worst year of Teresa's life? Will you tune in to check it out?
