Miley Cyrus will present Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 18. It's unclear whether the "Wrecking Ball" singer will perform, but a Jett/Cyrus duet could be a possibility as the ceremony is known to feature collaborative performances.

Jett has always been outspoken in her support of Cyrus. Following "The Wrecking Ball" singer's controversial VMA performance and subsequent antics, the rock veteran told NY Magazine that she "admires the fact that she is trudging forward and doing what she feels is right for her."

Cyrus similarly voiced her admiration for Jett in an interview with W stating: "I like that I'm associated with sexuality and the kind of punk-rock sh*t where we just don't care. Like Madonna or Blondie or Joan Jett -- Jett's the one that I still get a little shaky around. She did what I did in such a crazier way. I mean, girls then weren't supposed to wear leather pants and, like, f**king rock out. And she did."

The Hall of Fame officials also revealed that Zac Brown has been added to the performer list and will join Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello to salute the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the L.A. Times reports.

As previously reported, Paul McCartney will induct his fellow Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr; Patti Smith will posthumously induct her lifelong friend Lou Reed; Stevie Wonder will induct Bill Withers; Fall Out Boy will induct pop-punk forefathers Green Day; John Mayer will posthumously induct guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughan; Peter Wolf will induct the Paul Butterfield Blues Band; and Steve Cropper will induct the "5" Royales.

Beck will perform a Reed tribute, and Wonder will team with John Legend to pay tribute to Withers. Jimmie Vaughn will appear in lieu of his brother, who passed away in 1990. Dave Grohl, who was inducted with Nirvana last year, will also perform as well as Joe Walsh, and the aforementioned Morello.

The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place April 18 in Cleveland, Ohio. HBO will premiere a broadcast of the event on May 30.
