As previously reported, The Rock and Roll Hame of Fame announced that Lou Reed, Green Day, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Double Trouble, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Ringo Starr, "5" RoyalesBill Withers and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band will be inducted in April. Starr will additionally receive the special Award for Excellence. Now the Rock Hall has confirmed a number of music legends who are set to attend as performers or presenters.

Paul McCartney will induct his fellow Beatles bandmate Starr; Patti Smith will posthumously induct her lifelong friend Reed; Stevie Wonder will induct Withers; Fall Out Boy will induct pop-punk forefathers Green Day; John Mayer will posthumously induct guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughan; Peter Wolf will induct the Paul Butterfield Blues Band; and Steve Cropper will induct the "5" Royales. It is unclear who will be inducting Joan Jett and The Blackhearts or Double Trouble.

Beck will perform a Reed tribute and Wonder will team with John Legend to pay tribute to Withers. Jimmie Vaughn will appear in lieu of his brother, who passed away in 1990. Dave Grohl, who was inducted with Nirvana last year, will also perform as well as Joe Walsh, and Tom Morello.

The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place April 18 in Cleveland, Ohio. HBO will premiere a broadcast of the event on May 30. Tickets to the ceremony are sold out, but a limited number of VIP packages are still available.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland will also celebrate the 2015 inductees with a new expanded exhibit in their honor, scheduled to open in April.

Last year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony included performances by Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, Lorde, the surviving Nirvana members, Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, The E Street Band, Hall & Oats, and more.
