Austin guitar icon Gary Clark Jr. is celebrating his Grammy nominations with a mixtape of unreleased tracks and remixes from his debut album. Presented by D-Nice, Blak and Blu: The Mixtape features guests appearances by Robert Glasper, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott as well as a remix of "Blak and Blu" featuring Big K.R.I.T.

As Complex notes, Clark's music appeals to people across genres. His sound-blending abilities on his debut release landed him nominations in two different genre categories. His single "Ain't Messin Round," is nominated for Best Rock Song and "Pease Come Home" is up for Best Traditional R&B Song.

This mixtape is also not the first time Clark has worked with contemporary R&B and hip-hop artists. In 2012, he collaborated with Nas for an ESPN series; he's written for Alicia Keys; and in 2013, he released a single with The-Dream.

His track with Big K.R.I.T. is streaming in full now. Clark and K.R.I.T. are a good pairing on this song, with the rapper adding a inspirational verse about following your dreams and not letting "the world brand you."
