Skrillex is always looking to do something different, and his next project certainly fits that description. He has teamed up with Google to create limited edition phone cases for Android devices, titled "Editions." The "Where Are Ü Now" producer has unveiled three unique designs inspired by his lifelong fascination with space, which has been seen by his usage of the alien emoji on social media and that same graphic as the album art for his recent album Recess. To make the collaboration even more special, Skrillex, real name Sonny Moore, has launched a satellite named after the American producer's dog Nanou, into space, which will take pictures of the earth and project them on your phone as rotating wallpapers each day.

The satellites will remain in use at night as well, offering a geotargeted guide to constellations. Skrillex helped design three different phone cases, which are available on the Android store.

Skrillex describes the project to Noisey simply, "The idea: Send a satellite to space and get some tight photos."

The phone case comes with several perks attached. It has an extra bottom on the back, which allows you to save a website or function of your phone as a favorite for easy access.

Those who get the Live Case, will get early access to a free OWSLA album on Google Play, which Skrillex denies is his upcoming project, and Skrillex updates beamed right to their phones. Once Nanou has completed its mission, one lucky fan will receive the satellite autographed to keep.

This is not the only collaboration between Google and an artist for make a special "Editions" phone case, so be on the look out for more.

The limited-edition Skrillex Live Case is individually numbered and available for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Go to the Google Store to purchase yours today through the end of June, while supplies last. Watch a video of Moore describing the project and letting Nanou go into space.
