Tinashe has figured out her way into the entertainment industry at this point—appearing on songs that may be part of Drake's next album and all—but she was trying to impress the best way before that. New video has emerged from 2003 that shows a young girl singing "The Times They Are a Changin'" to Bob Dylan himself.

Some context: The young Tinashe Kachingwe did not simply walk up to folk icons and start singing classic songs. She had been hired to play a role in Masked & Anonymous, a comedic drama written by Dylan. The performance of the song within the film is somewhat ironic, as Dylan isn't playing himself but rather a different aging rock star named Jack Fate.

There's quite a cast behind the film—which is a fantasy in the sense that Dylan's character must play a benefit concert to save society as we know it—Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Penelope Cruz, Luke Wilson and Jessica Lange all appear. Someone clever took a look at the credits 12 years later however and recognized the name "Tinashe Kachingwe" appearing as "Mrs. Brown's Daughter."

The camerawork is debatable but there's no doubt who we're looking at when you consider the face. Dressed in a sweater and overalls, it's almost adorable when you consider her predilection for midriff-baring clothes nowadays.

Tinashe's acting ambitions were never a secret. Viewers might be more familiar with some of her roles on bigger programs, such as her recurring character Celeste on Two and a Half Men circa 2008-'09. She also played a bit part as "Hero Girl" during the 2004 feature film Polar Express. Her acting gigs have slowed down as the music industry has warmed up to her however.
