It's been 50 years since one giant UK act took America by storm in New York, and now another huge English act have paid tribute. Over the weekend, Arctic Monkeys played its biggest show in America to date, at New York's Madison Square Garden, and while there, Alex Turner and co. paid tribute to the Beatles with a little cover.

"So apparently almost to the day, its 50 years since Ed Sullivan brought the Beatles to the United States. So, we figured since we're in New York, as they were all those years ago, we'd play a little Beatles song for you today," Turner announced before spouting off some Beatles trivia and launching into "All My Loving."

Arctic Monkeys' take on "All My Loving" is a slower, more steady and focused version than the Beatles' peppier original version, and the track just drips with Britishness. It's a touching tribute from one band to another, because Arctic Monkeys would never, ever have happened without the Beatles.

The Arctic Monkeys' Beatles cover was just one of several over the weekend, including CBS' Grammy tribute to the Beatles.

The "All My Loving" cover came in the middle of Arctic Monkeys' sold-out American tour. Next, the boys will take on Covington, Ky., tonight (Feb. 10).
