Happy birthday, Alex Turner! In honor of the Arctic Monkey frontman's special day, let's take a look at his personal life, upbringing, early beginnings, and successes through the years before he amassed a massive career as a musician.

Born Alexander David Turner on January 6, 1986, the singer is now 37 years old! The singer's upbringing was different from some children as he was an only child and he previously revealed that his parents came from different backgrounds.

Regardless, one of their bonds was music as he remembered that both his mom and dad were big fans of music, especially the Beatles and the Beach Boys.
