As Vic Mensa gears up for the release of his new album, Traffic, he recently revealed a new, Beyoncé-approved single titled "Rage."

During a Tumblr chat with fans on Wednesday (June 10), Mensa was asked if he would ever work with Yonce, to which he replied that the Houston native "loves" a particular song of his.

"I REALLLLY WANT TO!!," he wrote. "She said I should do a song with her. She loves this song of mine called 'RAGE' from Traffic. Probably the next single."

Back in April, Mensa made headlines when it was announced that he had inked a deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation and unveiled the title for his forthcoming release.

"Most of y'all done heard the news/Vic went rogue and signed with Hov," he rapped during a freestyle for Los Angeles' Power 106.

During an interview with Justin Credible, Mensa also discussed his album.

"I'm working on a new project called Traffic that's coming soon. It's like stories of my life - a lot of my most personal moments, most vulnerable moments. And I'm really excited for the people to hear the music. There's vibes like 'U Mad,' a lot more introspective sh*t ... just a lot of textures."

Vic Mensa has not released a full-length album since his independently released 2010 effort, Straight Up. He released a well-received mixtape, INNANETAPE, in 2013.

This week, Mensa released a video for his track "U Mad," which features a verse from Kanye West. The two rappers have also collaborated on "Wolves," which was first premiered during West's New York Fashion Week presentation.
