Ultra Music Festival has become one of the largest and most successful EDM events in the world. Starting as a one-day event in downtown Miami, Ultra has expanded to 15 different countries worldwide, hosting single and multi-day festivals featuring some of the biggest DJs in the world, with a local flavor. Today, Ultra has announced a new batch of events for South America in Bolivia and Peru.

The new Ultra events in Bolivia and Peru will be in addition to already the roster of festivals already hosted in Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. All six events will be held this fall and winter, though in the Southern Hemisphere it will be the summertime for those countries.

Details about when the events will happen were flushed out today with the South American expansion announcement. Chile will host its third consecutive event in the nation's capital, Santiago, on Oct. 10. Tickets will go on sale July 1.

The new Bolivian edition will take occur the weekend prior on Oct. 3 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra at Estadio 'Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera.' Tickets will go on sale sometime in July.

Peru will host a mid-week event in Lima on Oct. 7 at the oceanfront venue Expianada Costa Verde.

UMF returns to Paraguay for a second year on Oct 9 in Luque.

Tickets for Ultra Paraguay and Peru both go on sale July 8.

Ultra has been aggressively expanding its events these past few years. It has developed a stable of several larger festivals internationally, including in Croatia, for Ultra Europe, South Africa, which will be a three day event this in 2016 and Japan, which will host Ultra for three days in September.

Earlier this year, Ultra announced its move into more Asian markets, which included Bali, Macau and Singapore.
