Apparently, Phaedra Parks is holding her ground about not bringing her two young sons to visit their father, Apollo Nida, in prison. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has gone on the record on various occasions to discuss her concern for her kids. She has said in the past that she is trying to raise two respectable young men and that she doesn't want them to think that jail is a normal part of life. So when Father's Day rolled around, Nida found himself completely alone, as usual.

According to a report by TMZ, Parks has been consulting with psychologists on how to deal with this situation and it was advised that she not bring her boys to visit their father in jail, even on Father's Day. Supposedly they are still too young (ages 5 and 1) to really understand where there father is and the reason for his incarceration so Nida will have to continue to made do with phone calls and drawings from his boys.

What is interesting is that even after Nida was sentenced to 8 years behind bars and Parks has kind of insinuated that he was abusive, she still hasn't filed for divorce. She said at the most recent RHOA reunion that divorce was a serious thing and that she was going to have to think long and hard about it. Also, while she has yet to visit Nida, she does put money on his prison account so that he can buy personal items.

Do you agree with Parks not bringing the kids to visit their father in prison? Or do you think that they not only have a right to see him, but that they really need to visit their father? Will she eventually file for divorce, rather than just talking about it or do you think that Parks is still holding out some sort of hope for her marriage to Nida?
