American DJ/producer Kaskade has released his new song "Disarm You" featuring the vocals of LA singer Ilsey. "Disarm You" is the second single from the "Atmosphere" DJ's forthcoming LP on Warner Brothers Music/Arkade, which is slated for release at some point this Fall. The single follows up his previous record "Never Sleep Alone," which has been very successful for Kaskade so far this year.
"Disarm You" is another large track from the Kaskade discography that serves up a taste of what is potentially to come from the LP. "Disarm You" starts soft and vulnerable, with pitched, oscillating guitar notes under Isley's deeply personal lyrics about the pursuit of love, "So let me disarm you / There's an army I'm fighting around your heart / Let me disarm you / Cause baby I just wanna love who you really are / Who you really are."
Isley's vocals carry the track into its blissful drop that take the tune out into the grandiose festival stages that Kaskade has been rocking all summer with hints at the deep bass stabs that are found in "Never Sleep Alone."
"Disarm You" was first premiered during Kaskade's set at EDC Las Vegas. He has been unveiling new music lately in his sets, including a collaboration with Galantis titled "Mercy."
Kaskade continues his very busy summer with festivals around the world, including a headlining slot at Lollapalooza next weekend. For those of you heading to Las Vegas this summer, ticket purchasers for any of his residency shows from now until Sept. 6 at XS and Encore Beach Club will automatically receive a copy of his album on its release date.
