Apple Music has gotten off to a great start when you compare it to the turmoil that TIDAL has faced, though there have been bugs which continue to plague the service. One of the best features has been Beats 1 radio, helmed by Zane Lowe, who brings the best of his time at BBC Radio One and adds the sleekness of Apple's marketing and design to it. They have brought in a litany of different artists from across music to present mixes on the program including Eric Prydz, Drake, St. Vincent and others. Over the weekend, Jamie xx, real name Jamie Smith, aired his One Mix with selections from his album In Colour, The War On Drugs, The Doors and others.

The music is a bit different from what you might typically hear in a Jamie xx set, but shows the tastemaking ability of the producer, DJ. There are also tunes from the likes of Deadboy, The Persuasians, Holden, Pedro Aguiar, Apparat, The Durutti Column and others. You can stream the mix in its entirety on Beats One website here.

The mix was put together from Smith's tour bus that is currently heading into San Francisco tonight for a gig at Bimbo's 365 Club. The rest of the summer will be very busy for Smith as he tours extensively his debut album In Colour that will keep him in the United States for another month for some theater shows in addition to a festival slot at Hard Summer.

He will then head back over to Europe for some shows all across the continent theaters and festivals like Reading and Leeds Festival, Rock En Seine, Pukkelpop and more. Get the full details here.
