It's time for the jungle to get a little bit funky. Leading up to the release of the animated film Rio 2, the "Electric Lady" herself Janelle Monae dropped the film's signature track "What Is Love" today (March 3).

Adding blends of calypso music and Carribeean flavor to her throwback funky sound, "What Is Love" is an upbeat, simply fun track that asks the question: "What good is love if it's not your love?"

As with everything she does, Monae gives 110 percent in "What Is Love" with her insane powerhouse vocals rising about the whistles, chants and conga drums of the backing instrumentation.

It's energetic, it's peppy, it's fun. It's basically exactly the kind of song fans would expect Janelle Monae to do for a children's film.

Rio 2 will hit theatres on April 11, just in time for Easter.
