The Chemical Brothers have unveiled the music video for "Sometimes I Feel So Deserted," the lead single from their recent album Born In The Echoes. It has been one month since the album was released and the group is back with another eccentric video, following the hypnotic visuals for "Go" with Q-Tip.

The music video puts the viewer in the middle of a desert battle between some sort of cyborg and her three human hunters. The video starts with woman, robot breed limping through a dry, desert space where she stumbles upon a free gas station that gives the cyborg extra energy. She then has to improvise with a broken leg and replaces that one with a piece of metal from a nearby scarecrow.

The van begins its pursuit as the cyborg finds another of its breed in the distance. The male crawls on its hands and as they meet, the female in some explosion manages to consume the male cyborg and become stronger and more complete with oil spilling everywhere.

The men in the van seem to know they have made a terrible mistake and attempt to drive away as fast as they can from the "woman" as she sprints at the van.

The video was directed by Ninian Doff. "Sometimes I Feel So Deserted" is taken from the UK electronic music duo's first album in five years and eighth overall, Born In The Echoes. The LP featured the likes of Beck, St. Vincent and Q-Tip.

The Chemical Brothers continue their hectic stretch of live shows this summer over the next couple weeks with festival gigs in Europe and the United States including at Creamfields, Bestival, Electric Zoo, Rock En Seine and North Coast.
