Right on the heels of the box office hit, Straight Outta Compton, where she was briefly mentioned, Michel'le, known for her hit singles from the early '90s, "Something In My Heart" and "No More Lies," is back in a big way with new music for 2015 with the release of her latest single "It's Nothing."

In recent years, Michel'le hasn't been out of the music scene entirely. In fact, since 2013 she's been featured as one of TV One's R&B Divas of LA cast members; where she works alongside five other R&B greats, Chanté Moore, Cynthia "Lil' Mo" Loving, Christina "Brave" Williams and Stacy Francis. Former castmates also include Kelly Price, Claudette Ortiz, Dawn Robinson of EnVogue and Chrisette Michelle. The show centers around these ladies and spotlights what we know them all for -- their beautiful voices.

It was on the show where viewers witnessed Michel'le on stage performing classic hits and in the studio working on what many fans have been waiting for -- new music. As the EUR confirmed on Thursday Sept. 3, it's finally here.

But the news came straight from the diva herself, Michellemuzic via her Twtter page.

Michel'le fans can wonder if the lyrics and the timing of the single's release has anything to do with the fact that her very public and abusive relationship to N.W.A member Dr. Dre was omitted from the biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

What do you think? Is this a case of scripted timing or is it pure coincidence? Share your comments in the box below.
