Unless you live under rock somewhere, you are well aware of the scandal surrounding comedian/actor Bill Cosby and the sexual allegations against him. So many women have come forward alleging that The Cosby Show legend drugged and sexually violated them. A few of these women appeared on the NBC Dr. Phil show to tell their story in their own words and recount what happened to them with Cosby.
The Cosby scandal has been the topic of several discussions on radio shows and social media sites. Some have even found humor in the situation by creating and sharing Cosby memes based on the scandal and saturating Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with them. Some may find them find them slightly humorous but the women who came forward with their story on the Dr. Phil show were all but laughing at the matter. The Electronic Urban Report told the story of one guest, who only identified herself as "Linda," who recounted her violation at Cosby's hands.
She revealed to host, Phil McGraw, and the audience how humiliated she was after the Hollywood Star recipient did things to her that she described as too "graphic" to tell in full. What she did disclose was his hands coming around the back of her head while exposing himself in her face. "He had my hair...,"revealed Linda. "...You know when you're shocked you go, 'Oh,' you open your mouth a little bit, and that was my mistake. And then he just made this horrible mess all over me."
Linda continued on with her story, explaining how Cosby used Kleenex that he had in his pocket to clean her up afterward and told her that she was now "blessed." Linda is not the only alleged Cosby assault victim that has come forward. To date, over 40 women have accused Cosby of sexual assault and included in that number are former models, Janice Dickinson and Beverley Johnson.
Johnson was also featured on the talk show and she explained how she was drugged with a spiked cappuccino. According to Entertainment Tonight, Johnson's attempted assault allegedly occurred during the mid '80s. In an open letter released by Vanity Fair, Johnson described how she was almost attacked by the Hollywood Star recipient when she auditioned for a role on The Cosby Show. According the site, "Johnson claims that she knew almost immediately that she had been drugged, and when Cosby began trying to put his hands on her, she screamed at him."
