The former Love and Hip Hop New York (LHHNY) star Erica Mena has come a long way from her rowdy and volatile TV persona that fans have come to know, and enjoyed watching. She has transformed not only her look but also her personality, after becoming engaged to actor/rapper Shad "Bow Wow" Moss. Since the beginning of their relationship, the two have shared a lot, from moving in together, to blending their families and now suffering through a miscarriage, which Mena revealed through an emotional poem on her Instagram account.

Centric revealed the somber note posted by Mena, who in emotional lines, revealed to the world that she was in mourning and felt that someone who she never got the chance to meet, had been torn away.  While the poem never uses the word miscarriage, the line, "Though you lived in me for only 4 months" strongly suggests a pregnancy that was ended.

"So quickly torn away.
Never got the chance to meet you,
There's so much I want to say.
Where there once was joy and happiness,
Is now sadness, guilt, and pain.
All these thoughts running through my head,
It's enough to drive me insane.
Though you lived in me for only 4 months,
You were loved so very much.
I wish that I could hold you,
I long to feel your touch.
On that day,
My world was ripped from under my feet.
I pray that in another life,
We get the chance to meet."

There was never a formal announcement made by the reality star of the pregnancy but a comment left on a prior Instagram photo, showing Mena drinking the growingly popular Flat Tummy Tea, by fiancé Bow Wow, alludes to the pregnancy as well.

Ask Kissy shared the photo with the comment that read, "Enjoy your flat tummy pics now... because uhhh yeah..." The site also revealed that Mena could've been about 4 months pregnant.

Mena's full disclosure may not be a typical response for a grieving woman who has just suffered a miscarriage but she explained that everyone has their own healing process and this is her way of healing.

You will get through it. YOU always do.
