For the past 11 years, Josh Turner has been wowing us with his musical talents. Now, he's wowing fans with his writing skills. Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family, and Fatherhood, his first book, will hit stores on April 29, 2014.

In an interview with CMT, he talked about the book and what he hopes to accomplish with it, saying, "The book doesn't teach you how to be a male. It teaches you how to be a man. I think most men know how to hunt and fish and watch football. I tried to make this book so I'm not preachy -- and I don't want to claim that I have all answers -- but I have hope that this will help readers strive to be better men."

For Turner, writing something more than a three minute song gave him the chance to share some of the wisdom he's picked up along the way as he's grown. "I've gotten a lot of advice in my life -- some good, some bad -- and I've had to be discerning about what advice to follow," he shared. "I think God has guided me through that."

The husband and father sings - he acts (he played George Beverly Shea in the film titled Billy: The Early Years, about the evangelist Billy Graham) and he writes books. One has to wonder if there is anything the multi-talented man can't do!
