Tokyo Police Club's new album Forcefield hits stores today (March 25, 2014) and to celebrate the Ontario indie rock outfit released a brand new music video for the single "Hot Tonight."

The video premiered on Kotaku, which reaches the appropriate audiences for the motif. "Hot Tonight" is clearly based around classic arcade games, but the band decided to give some of the featured games a modern twist.

While hanging out in a bar playing fictional retro arcade games, we see the modern influence. The band appears in the games with lyrics popping up for the characters, but the highlights have to be the game themes.

For instance, the recent controversy surround Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is turned into an 8-bit, Pac Man-like arcade adventure. There's even a crack pipe bonus in this one! Also, there's a fun little game involving fitting all of the band's equipment into a van in the vein of Tetris.
