The highly anticipated Microsoft Xbox One exclusive video game, Halo 5: Guardians, has a release date set for October 27, 2015, and this week we were treated to a great new launch trailer featuring new gameplay footage. Spartan Locke hunts the fugitive Master Chief in the latest chapter of the popular shooter, but this launch trailer definitely gets us in the mood for gaming, especially thanks to the music that accompanies it. Prog rock band Muse and their song "Knights of Cydonia" score the action in this trailer, which you can watch below!

Of course, we hear some in-game music that backs some cinematic moments and other gameplay action, but the exciting part of the trailer comes when Muse starts playing. The lyrics definitely fit the game's story of Master Chief on the run from his own organization as another skilled fighter and his team hunt him down.

Plus, when the soaring guitar work kicks in, we get a great glimpse at some gameplay footage! There's nothing to not like about this launch trailer.

Featuring some great voice and motion-capture acting from Nathan Fillion, Mike Colter and more, "Knights of Cydonia" is a great addition to the production of this game.
