Avicii has already spread his wings beyond just the world of music and now the Stories producer is prepping a new venture with Sony. He has announced a brand new video game titled Vecture that will be exclusive to PlayStation 4.

In a new trailer, a voice promises it will be "a new type of music rhythm game." It does not appear to be like a Dance Dance Revolution game, but rather something you can sit down and play without sweating or exercising. Avicii has created exclusive remixes for the game and though he has not done the programming or designing, according to PlayStation, he has been testing out the game, offering feedback and contributing ideas to a multiplayer mode.

The trailer continues, saying the PS4 game "Adds a new dimension to my music and extends the experience. The game allows you to be creative, designing your own levels."

This is the latest move by Avicii to expand his horizons beyond music as major pop stars have started to do to build their brand. He had already inked some very lucrative endorsement deals, including one with Ralph Lauren where he has modeled clothes, featured it in music videos and done exclusive concerts for the brand. He dove into directing earlier this year, taking the reins for the "Pure Grinding" and "For A Better Day" music videos.

The game doesn't look like it will necessarily compete with your big blockbuster sellers like Dynasty, Call Of Duty or FIFA, but it is an upgrade on his previous phone and tablet game Gravity that is much simpler.

The game was announced at Paris Games Week 2015. No further details have been unveiled as to what music will be included in the game play beyond some exclusive Avicii remixes or a release date, but it could come soon.
