Who said pop-punk was dead? Apparently, Joel and Benji Madden are reviving Good Charlotte for a big comeback and kicking it old-school, according to a brand new video post. The new music would be the band's first since 2010's Cardiology.

The post appeared on Alternative Press' Facebook with hashtag #WelcomeBackGC, directing fans to the band's newly-revamped website. The clip, which runs for a mere 30 seconds, is enough to pique any fan's curiosity with a snippet of a brand new Good Charlotte single.

The new song's lyrics, which are displayed on screen in the video post as iPhone text messages, read "Like i'm dying tonight / And the whole world is laughing / Like everyone I love has gone away / Whoaaa / I'm dying tonight / But no one is crying / It's not all right no matter what they say / Whoaaa."

The song's vibe is very reminiscent of their classic 2002 album The Young and The Hopeless which you'll certainly remember from lead single "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous." The assumed new track has yet to be titled or given an official release date, however, more details are sure to follow in the coming months.

This new song isn't the first we've heard from Good Charlotte proper in recent years. Though siblings Benji and Joel Madden have been busy in the interim with a side project dubbed The Madden Brothers and writing for the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, Good Charlotte teamed up with Waka Flocka Flame to release a new song in June, "Game On." The song appeared in Sony's recent film Pixels.
