This may not be the first time we've seen or heard of Justin Bieber's emotions getting the best of him. The pop star who let tears stream down his face after his invigorating 2015 MTV VMA performance recently admitted that he cried while watching the Asif Kapadia-directed Amy Winehouse documentary.

On Friday Nov. 6, the 21-year-old "Sorry" singer stopped by Alan Carr's Chatty Man talk show where he was questioned on the last time he had a good cry, to which he attributed Amy. "Probably watching the Amy Winehouse documentary on the way [to the UK]. That got me. You know the ending and that whole movie was just depressing, but man, was she talented. Her voice was incredible," Bieber revealed, according to Daily Mail. Watch some of the interview below:

Kapadia's Amy holds the title of the second biggest documentary ever at the UK box office, notes NME. During the UK TV event, the "What Do You Mean?" singer reflected on the tears shed at the Miley Cyrus hosted award show, saying that he acted "like a little schoolgirl."

"It was just a lot man," he said. "It was my first time performing on TV for like three years or something and I was really nervous and just wanted it to go well. I got a standing ovation and just to be accepted by my peers felt really nice," he said.

Emotional is quite an accurate word to describe the Canadian singer--after dealing with the backlash of his nude photo scandal, walking off stage in Norway after scolding his fans and walking out on a Spanish radio station interview, it seems the "Boyfriend" singer had a rough week. He later issued an apology, explaining how tough it is to be "turned on" all the time.

Purpose, his fifth studio album, is due out on Nov. 13, already boasting hits like "Sorry," "I'll Show You," "Where Are U Now" and "What Do You Mean?"
