Each week we like to compile some our favorite tracks from the past seven days into a mixtape perfect for sharing with you and your friends. This time around we have new songs from Haley Bonar, Eels, WIFE and many more!

Guitarist Josh Klinghoffer is the current guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but his other band, Dot Hacker, is very much his pride and joy. This week the band (made up of touring musicians who have worked with Gnarls Barkley, Beck, Broken Bells, PJ Harvey, and Tom Morello to name a few) debuted the new song "Whatever You Want."

Eels, A.K.A. Mark Oliver Everett, released a new folk-tastic single this week entitled "Where I'm From." The singer-songwriter is really letting listeners in to his mind with this song, marking one of his most personal numbers to date.

Altar of Plagues frontman James Kelly announced his solo project this week entitled WIFE. This new project is very different than his black metal band, taking queues from industrial electro-pop while maintaining the darkness of his past. Take a listen to "Heart is a Far Light" below.

Would you like to hear some covers? Of course you would! Check out some of the bigger names in indie music take on some even bigger names in the industry. Arcade Fire covers Blondie's "Heart of Glass," and emerging hip-hop artist Angel Haze takes on Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love" this week.

"Animal of One" is the latest track from San Francisco's The Fresh and Onlys. With the band's fifth album, House of Spirits, coming out in June, our first few tastes of its 2014 sound have proven promising. We can't wait for more!

Partisan Records seems to be all over our weekly Mixtapes, and the Brooklyn label's new group, PHOX, has stolen out heart this week.
