Japanther's surprisingly catchy new song, "Take Me In and Let Me Go," had us all tapping our toes this week. The New York punks are definitely on point, making us waiting in anticipation for 2014's Instant Money Magic.

New York-based artist Damon McMahon goes by the moniker Amen Dunes, which is shaping into one of the most impressive folk projects of this generation. His new song, "Lilac in Hand," is a great example of Damon's talent with distinct vocals and an acoustic guitar leading the rest of the composition throughout.

Emerging R&B revivalists are maybe the most exciting artists to watch in 2014 and Gallant is definitely a standout performer on that list. Reminisce about the late 1990s with Gallant's new track "Jupiter Greyscale."

RIYL: How to Dress Well, Miguel, Bon Iver

If you're not listening to EMA you are missing out. The singer's soulful new track, "3Jane," is the closer for this week's mixtape, and it is absolutely mesmerizing.
