Hangout Music Festival has announced its 2016 lineup. The three-day festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama will be headlined by the likes of Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, Florence + The Machine, Lenny Kravitz, Ellie Goulding, Alabama Shakes, Flume and others.

The festival has gone decidedly pop with its headliners after sticking with primarily rock headliners over the past few years. Names like Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, The Killers, The Black Keys, The Foo Fighters and Jack Johnson have littered the big lettering at Hangout, but this year they have gone with headliners geared towards a more pop, rap and EDM audience.

Hangout 2016 will have a strong presence from DJs including The Chainsmokers, 3LAU, Jai Wolf, Thomas Jack, Bro Safari, Lost Kings, Jerry Folk and Snails.

The contingent of rap and r&b will be strong at Hangout. Fetty Wap, Alessia Cara, Run The Jewels, The Weeknd and Vince Staples will all be there to perform.

Rock and country will of course be well represented at hangout with names like X Ambassadors, The Struts, Kurt Vile and the Violators, The Neighborhood, Walk The Moon, Foals, Bully, Jason Isbell and Silversun Pickups all getting booked.

The Hangout Festival lineup should be a good indicator of who will be on festival lineups over the rest of the summer. Festivals like to try and say they provide unique experiences, but most of the lineups are pretty similar, just in different markets. So seeing who is on the Hangout billing should give fans a good indication of who will be at other major events.

Names like Miike Snow, Big Grams, Vince Staples, Atlas Genius and Courtney Barnett all released albums in 2015 and seem poised to take it on the road for the summer festival circuit in 2016.

Hangout Music Festival will occur from May 20-22. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. CST. Head to Hangout's website to get yours. See the full list of artists on the bill below.
