Indie-folk group Mumford & Sons, which recently traded its signature banjos for a plugged in electric guitar on their third studio album, Wilder Mind, has been confirmed as the second headliners of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park 2016.

The British rock outfit will storm the Hyde Park stage on July 8 along with Alabama Shakes, Wolf Alice and Take That (the first band to be announced on the bill) with other artists yet to be named, according to NME. Tickets for the Mumford & Sons headlining date will be available for purchase beginning Nov. 27 at 9 a.m but before the quartet of Marcus Mumford, Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane execute their headlining gig, the group will head out on an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland, launching at Nottingham Capital FM Arena on Nov. 18.

"Hyde Park for us: sacrificing hopes and dreams at the altar of Neil Young; being transported to another dimension by The National; supporting Arcade Fire (the best band in the world); playing alongside our mates The Vaccines; accidentally seeing Black Eyed Peas; wishing we were at Kylie," the band said according to Digital Spy.

"What a place. And this time we get to headline and pick a bill of sick artists to play with us. Alabama Shakes! Wolf Alice! Gentlewomen of the Road," they added.

The group's third studio album, Wilder Mind, comes after their first two successful studio albums--2009's debut album, Sigh No More, which boasted fan favorite hits like "Little Lion Man" and "Awake My Soul" as well as 2012's sophomore album, Babel.

Earlier in the year, guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall detailed to NME that there was a "high chance" that his group would have brand-new tracks to offer the crowds at Hyde Park. Although Mumford & Sons has played the esteemed festival before, 2016 will mark the first headlining slot.
