Would Selena Gomez date Zayn Malik? The singer is talking up a storm about her love life as well as ex Justin Bieber and One Direction in a new issue of InStyle UK. Gomez is set to grace the cover of the publication for a January 2016 issue.
When asked about the Malik whispers, Gomez said to InStyle, "If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding." The singer also admitted that she is dating, but she wouldn't name names.
"I hate it," she said to the publication, "It's hard and I'm really weirded out by the idea that a guy has googled me before we meet, and that has happened. I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date
"It's really hard because I'm a nice person," Gomez said on Bieber. "I'm just tired of talking about it. I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story."
Rumors spread like wildfire that the two were dating last week when they were spotted together in Beverly Hills last Friday night (Nov. 20) and a video of Bieber serenading Gomez appeared soon thereafter. According to TMZ, the pair were seen at the Montage Beverly Hills, where Bieber played "My Girl" on the piano and sang to his former flame. They then reportedly walked the Beverly Hill streets together for several hours.
Based on a recent interview with Ellen, it's not surprising that the two were spotted together again. When asked about a potential reunion on the show Bieber said, "Maybe. I mean, we have a lot of history together so I'm sure it could possibly happen."
Bieber also finally admitted on the show that his two Purpose tracks, "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?," were written about his relationship with Gomez, as fans had always suspected.
