It was just revealed that Angels & Airwaves, as well as The Maine, are among a slew of major alternative rock artists that have banded together in contribution to the new Music For Boobies punk rock charity compilation due out next month via Rude Records.
As previously reported, Keep A Breast Foundation is releasing a punk rock charity compilation titled Music For Boobies in an effort to raise awareness (and funds, 50% of which will be donated to cancer research) for the breast cancer organization. The full compilation consists of 25 songs, both new and previously unreleased, as well as some duets and remixes, spanning across two full volumes.
"Having spent countless years on the ground at Warped Tour educating about breast cancer prevention and early detection, Keep A Breast has always considered the alternative music scene an invaluable partner in engaging a young audience," KAB founder Shaney Jo Darden said in a press release. "As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we're really excited to join forces with Rude Records on the Music for Boobies compilation, which will feature many of our favorite artists we've met over the years."
The album, which is due out March 18, 2016, is currently available for pre-order via iTunes, all orders of which will come with an instant early download of the first two songs that premiered today. Below, you can hear the remix of AVA's track "Saturday Love" and a cover of The New Radicals' "You Get What You Give" featuring Brennan Smiley, both of which are streaming via Spotify.
