Over the past few months, Migos have popularized the dab and with their third member, Offset, fresh from behind bars, the trio is ready to take their show on the road. The “Versace” rappers have announced a Dab tour and plans to release a YRN 2 mixtape.
According to HotNewHipHop, Migos’ next body of work is set to be released on Jan. 18. Their tour will kick off the following month on Feb. 17 in San Francisco. The 15-date run will close out in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 15. They'll be joined by Jose Guapo, Rich The Kid and Skippa Da Flippa.
Last week, the group released a track titled “Case Closed” after Offset was released from jail. He’d been incarcerated for nearly eight months following an arrest in April during a performance at Georgia Southern University.
Initially, all three members of the group were arrested and reportedly charged with "possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in a school safety zone and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.” Takeoff and Quavo were later released, but Offset remained in jail due to his felony record and for reportedly sparking a jailhouse riot over the summer.
Prior to his release, Offset’s bail had been denied three times. The group’s initial arrest forced the Migos to push back their Yung Rich Nation tour, which was originally set to kick off in May. The release of their major label debut had also been delayed.
