Following the fatal terror attacks during an Eagles of Death Metal gig in Paris in November, Tenacious D have decided to participate in Josh Homme's campaign for the victims by auctioning off memorabilia directly from their Pick of Destiny tour.

Comedy-rock duo Kyle Glass and Jack Black put their fur coats and lizard-and-wizard costumes from their 2006-2007 tour on the block. Furthermore, the auction will receive one-of-a-kind stage props, such as the full wardrobe from the "Love Hangin' Fruit" video, the Evil Alien Squid and Felix from the D's "Rize of the Fenix" tour as well as the silver superhero getups they wore during their 23-minute Total Request Live hunger strike in 2003, Rolling Stone notes.

All proceeds from the Charitybuzz auction go directly to Homme's Sweet Stuff Foundation, benefiting victims apart of the attacks that killed 130 people, 89 of those at an Eagles of Death Metal concert, including  the group's own merchandise manager, Nick Alexander.

"Our friend Josh Homme asked if Tenacious D would participate in the awareness and fund raising campaign in the wake of the recent attacks," the duo told Billboard. "We were eager to join the cause. This is our small but heartfelt contribution."

Eagles of Death Metal have already asked artists to cover "I Love You All the Time" to help raise funds for the Sweet Stuff Foundation, which has reeled in renditions by Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Florence + the Machine, Savages, Imagine Dragons, My Morning Jacket, Jimmy Eat World, Ed Harcourt, Alain Johannes, Mini Mansions, r00ms, Sinner Sinners, Deen Ween Group and The New Pacific, NME notes.

Although she hasn't participated in the fundraising, Madonna recently took to the streets of Paris to offer an impromptu street performance of John Lennon's "Imagine" and her own "Like A Prayer."
