Earlier this month, Mike WiLL Made-It released the first offering from his upcoming Ransom 2 project, a track by Rae Sremmurd titled “By Chance.” More recently, he put out a collaboration with Future called “Al Sharpton.”

As noted by Rap-Up, the song gets its name from the civil rights activist and its single art even features Sharpton’s own selfie. On the track, Future bounces from subject to subject, mainly boasting about his lavish lifestyle and love for “bad b*tches.” Elsewhere on the song, he shouts, “Go Al Sharpton on these hoes, yeah.”

Last week, Mike WiLL hinted at the release date and asked who fans want to hear on the project. He also questioned whether it should be put out as an album or mixtape.

Mike WiLL released the predecessor to his Ransom 2 mixtape in December of 2014. The tape featured "Someone To Love" featuring 2 Chainz, Cap-1 and Skooly as well as “Drinks On Us” with Swae Lee and Future.

The tape featured a slew of other guest spots by artists like Juicy J, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, DeJ Loaf, Young Thug and Migos. Ransom also included contributions from up-and-coming artists like Key!, Yung Joey, Eearz and Bankroll Fresh.

Aside from his newly-announced project, fans have also been anticipating Mike WiLL Made-It's collaborative mixtape with Future. The two first hinted at Ape Sh*t last April, sharing the possible mixtape cover on Twitter. Since then, details about the tape have been limited.

However, it has been confirmed that Rae Sremmurd’s sophomore album, SremmLife 2, is currently in the works and will be released in February.

"Every song on Sremmlife is a HIT. Still sounding fresh af. Great start. SremmLife 2 in the works," Mike WiLL tweeted.
