Alabama Shakes has a momentous 2015 with the release of its sophomore album Sound & Color, which led to multiple Grammy nominations. Now, the "Don't Wanna Fight" rockers are bringing that momentum and energy into the new year with the announcement of a month-long North American tour.

Alabama Shakes will tackle a series of southern states this spring, according to a press release. The tour will begin on April 21 in Nashville, and Brittany Howard and co. will tackle a variety of Southern cities including Asheville, North Carolina, and St. Augistine, Florida, throughout the month of April.

After Alabama Shakes wrap up the southern leg of their tour, they will play a series of festivals, including Hangout Fest on May 21.

And of course, Alabama Shakes won't be hitting the road alone. For its first eight shows of the spring, the band will be joined by singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc. Kurt Vile and the Violators will also join Alabama Shakes on the road for a one-off show in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
